WHO WE ARE
In 1997, a group of students in Pasquerilla East Hall set out to put on a musical, reintroducing something that had been missing from life at Notre Dame for more than 10 years. That musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, featured a South Bend children's choir as well as Notre Dame students.
Today, PEMCo is the leading producer of musical theatre at the University of Notre Dame, presenting at least two musicals and a revue to the community every year. PEMCo (once called the Pasquerilla East Musical Company) welcomes students of all majors and backgrounds within the Tri-Campus Community of Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, and Saint Mary's College. We are one of the largest student groups on campus, with students serving as producers, directors, designers, choreographers, actors, instrumentalists and so much more. All of these roles are necessary to put on the large-scale, high-quality musicals that PEMCo proudly presents each season. |
